"Red Dragonfly" is a custom made aircraft.
It was designed and built to carry a 25lb payload. The Cardinal weighs in at 26lbs, 9.75 feet wing span and six feet fuselauge. It is powered by a 30cc gasoline engine and has the same power to weight ratio as most actual s/UAS's. _______________________ The "Yellow Dragonfly" is another custom aircraft designed to carry up to 40lb payload. The Yellow Dragonfly weighs in 28lbs and has a wing span of 10 feet. The fuselauge has been widened to over 8" to hold most cameras and sensors. It is powered by a 30cc gasoline engine and has the same power to weight ratio as most UAS's. These aircraft are NOT model airplanes! The wings are designed to carry weight and penetrate the wind. Unlike a flat bottom wing, they don't balloon when turning into the wind. |
